At Kaaram OK Please, we don’t just bottle heat — we bottle feeling. And sometimes, the best way to evoke a memory, set a mood, or carry a flavour home is through music. That’s why sound is as integral to our brand as spice.

We’ve built a sonic identity that’s just as bold, layered, and nostalgic as our sauces and condiments — and we’ve made it available to everyone through our Spotify page, filled with handpicked playlists that we update regularly.

What Does Kaaram Sound Like?

Like a beat-up cassette player crackling at a tea kadai.
Like the bassline from a Malayalam rock anthem or a Tamil kuthu beat from the 90s.
It’s playful, nostalgic, gritty, and sometimes unexpectedly emotional.

Our playlists aren’t algorithm-generated. They’re the product of real digging, real emotion, and sometimes, hours spent remembering the song that played during a train journey from school to summer.

We pull from:

  • Eelam Tamil music — raw, powerful, and rooted in resistance.

  • Malayalam rock — introspective, moody, yet melodic.

  • Tamil film music — especially the golden eras of Ilaiyaraaja and Rahman, but also obscure background scores, folk-inspired interludes, and retro funk gems.

  • Indie artists — South Asian creators who are pushing boundaries and reclaiming sound in new, unexpected ways.
