A Sold-Out Debut in Bombay: Our First Showcase at the No Borders Exhibition

Last weekend in Mumbai was one for the books. Kaaram OK Please made its Bombay debut at the No Borders Exhibition — and we’re still buzzing from the energy, the conversations, and the incredible response that led to our first ever sold-out show.

For a young brand rooted in South Indian heritage flavours, taking our small-batch sauces and condiments to a city that thrives on boldness felt like the perfect match. Bombay showed up with curiosity, enthusiasm, and an appetite for everything from our Kandhari & Kokum Hot Sauce to Jam-a-Kaaram, Date With Puli, and Maanga Jalsa. To everyone who tasted, chatted, stocked up, came back for seconds — thank you. Your excitement reminds us why we do this.

What made the weekend truly memorable was the sense of community. Every fellow vendor brought their own spark — helpful, welcoming, and wonderfully collaborative. There was no competition, only craft supporting craft. From sharing space to sharing stories, it felt like a collective celebration of creativity and independent makers. We couldn’t have asked for a warmer entrance.

Walking away from Mumbai sold out, energised, and deeply inspired, we’re even more committed to our mission: bringing South Indian heritage flavours to modern pantries, through fermented condiments, chilli jams, and hot sauces where heat meets story.

Bombay — thank you for the love, the encouragement, and the appetite. We’ll be back soon, and with even more bold, bright, small-batch flavours.

Until then, the kitchen calls.
