✨ A Deepavali Full of Gratitude ✨

As we wind down on our first Deepavali, we’ve had a chance to pause, take a deep breath, and let it all sink in — what a season it’s been!

This year was our first and we had no idea what to expect. Between the heady aroma of roasted chillies, and the stacks of jars waiting to be packed, our little kitchen was bursting with energy. We fulfilled over a hundred hamper orders, each packed with care, and even shipped a special order all the way to America — a first for us, and a moment of quiet pride for our small team.

In designing our hampers, we have supported two NGOs - one from Chettinad who made our baskets and another from Chennai who made the traditional palm boxes for our Kutti Kaaram Box. We also recruited the help of a local potter in Auroville to make small serving bowls for our corporate hampers.

For small-batch makers like us, this felt like a leap of faith. We plan, prep, and pour our hearts into creating something that will find its way to your tables, your hampers, and your celebrations. Knowing that our sauces, pickles, and jams became part of your Deepavali spreads and gifts fills us with immense gratitude.

We also loved seeing how you made our products your own — some of you paired Jam-a-Kaaram with cheese boards, some stirred Date with Puli into chaat, and a few of you even told us you served Maanga Jalsa with curd rice. That creativity is exactly why we do what we do.

As a small business, every order, every kind word, and every bit of feedback keeps us going. It allows us to keep experimenting, keep fermenting, and keep sharing the flavours we love — bold, tangy, and unapologetically South Indian.

From all of us at Kaaram OK Please, thank you for making this Deepavali so special. Here’s to a season of light, spice, and endless gratitude. 🌶️💛
